The world of adventure around the Rittisberg is paradise for children. The excursion destination combines many attractions for the whole family. The Rittisberg high-altitude playground next to the mountain station of the Rittisberg cable car not only offers fun and games for the children in front of a unique backdrop, but numerous child-friendly hikes also start at the mountain station, such as the fairytale trail with 30 entertaining stations. Other highlights at the Rittisberg are the flyline, the forest high rope courses, the archery area, the barefoot trail and the summer toboggan run.

The Planai is not only a real highlight in winter. It is a great place for adventure in summer and home to the Hopsiland – the highest playground in Styria. Mascot Hopsi knows what children like. Therefore there is plenty to discover: a water-world with pond and water games, giant swing, mega-slide, climbing frame, a bowling lane, and oversized piste-basher made from wood and lots more. Everything can be discovered over a 1.5 km long circuit with panoramic views.

On the Hauser Kaibling there are also plenty of activities for young and old. The children can look forward to apparatus such as a climbing wall, giant sandpit, rotating see-saw, slide & co. The double swing with a panoramic view is exceptionally attractive. Along the children’s adventure route there are also a number of agility tests and play points for the whole family. Above all the flying-fox, the summer-snow-bob track and the Kaiblingalm pond ensure variety during the family friendly hike.

Located at the top station of the Preunegg Jet is the large Reiteralm-playground for the next generation of hikers. A baby sand-pit, various toys, sand-pit with a mini digger and the giant trampoline Reiter Alm XL-jump ensure that there is something for children of all ages to enjoy. Even the youngest guests are taken care of. The round circuit “Windel-Wagerl-Weg” takes you around the lake and is ideal for a walk with the pushchair. Older children can look forward to a hike on the family themed walk “Stille Wasser” to the natural gem Untersee or test your agility on the Reiteralm Junior Trails.

The nature and adventure trail on the Sattelberg in Ramsau am Dachstein is an adventure for young and old alike. At the 17 stations the young explorers don’t only learn about nature, plants, animals and mountains. The knowledge can also be put into practice straight away. In-between stations there are amusing puzzles and even a real researcher’s laboratory. The active explorers find their way to the children’s via-ferrata “Kali, Kala & Kalo”. Part of the pathway is also accessible with a pushchair. Those who successfully accomplish the adventure pathway receive a Kalis- discoverers- certificate.
