New theme in the Dachstein ice palace
"A trip through Styria" awaits the guests this summer at the Dachsteingletscher. When walking through the Ice Palace you can admire the Styrian sights such as the Grazer Uhrturm, the Riegersburg or the Altausseer Salzwelten made out of ice.
Online reservation of the Dachstein cable car and arrival
We recommend you make an online reservation for the uphill and downhill run with the Dachstein cable car to the Dachstein Glacier. Click here to reserve! We also recommend a stress-free drive to the valley station with the glacier shuttle bus, departure in Schladming (Planet Planai). Included in the summercard! In the meantime, you can park your car for free in the Parkhaus (Planet Planai).
Important information for the summercard
The validity of the summercard on the day of arrival begins from 1 pm. The use of the Dachstein cable car is possible from 2 nights or more. Parking in Untertal on the designated parking spaces is no longer included in the summercard. There are parking machines, where you can get a ticket depending on the duration. We recommend to use the public transport (bus) for a visit to the Wild Water. The use of the Alpinsteig is included in the summercard and thus the alpine path is freely accessible.
